Biography
Dr. Andrew Somers is a physical therapist, musician, and maker from Lexington, Oklahoma. Prior to beginning his career in full-time academia in 2024, he passionately served Oklahomans for 9 years in rural and tribal clinics where he mentored over a dozen clinical students from PT and PTA programs across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. He is married to his wonderful wife, Diana—a fellow musician and maker—who serves as a district court reporter for Oklahoma County. He now proudly serves the ܽƵ DPT program’s students teaching beginning and advanced orthopaedic physical therapy practice.
